The opportunity

Warriors 2 Workforce is hiring experienced structural welders and fabricators for a busy fabrication shop in the Columbus area. First and second shift opportunities are available for dependable welders who can work independently in a production and fabrication environment.
Pay is based on experience and weld-test results. Medical, dental and vision benefits are offered. Qualified candidates first interview with Warriors 2 Workforce before consideration for the client opportunity. A hands-on weld test may be required before placement.
What you'll do
- MIG and stick welding in various positions.
- Read and follow basic structural shop drawings.
- Cut, fit and tack structural components.
- Build assemblies square and level.
- Use basic hand and power tools.
- Perform fabrication work with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow required PPE and shop safety procedures.
What we're looking for
- Previous structural welding or fabrication experience.
- MIG welding experience required; stick welding experience preferred.
- Ability to read basic shop drawings and blueprints.
- Experience with fit-up, tacking and fabrication.
- Ability to work independently and produce quality work.
- Reliable attendance and transportation.
