The opportunity
Manage commercial projects from preconstruction to closeout.
A well-established fourth-generation construction company is seeking a project manager for its growing Indianapolis team. The organization emphasizes long employee tenure, a strong culture and collaborative construction management, with commercial, healthcare, industrial, manufacturing and automotive projects throughout the region.
Base salary of $115,000–$125,000. Compensation includes a vehicle allowance or company vehicle, gas card, cell phone and computer, 401(k) with company match, comprehensive benefits, paid holidays and PTO. Benefits listed include dental, health, life and vision insurance and cell phone reimbursement.
Preferred project backgrounds
Healthcare, industrial, manufacturing, automotive and large commercial construction projects.
What you'll do
- Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules.
- Manage budgets and financial reporting.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and project stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with field operations and project teams.
- Ensure safe delivery on schedule and within budget.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of project management experience with a general contractor.
- Commercial construction experience required.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules and subcontractors.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with construction software platforms.
- Stable work history preferred.
