Commercial Concrete Form Carpenter / Concrete Worker

Warriors 2 Workforce is seeking experienced commercial concrete form carpenters and concrete workers for a well-established Indiana construction contractor. This is not a short-term project assignment: the goal is to transition successful employees into full-time permanent positions with the contractor. Projects and candidates may be located throughout the Indianapolis, Lafayette and Logansport corridor, with a particular need for workers closer to Logansport and Lafayette.
Starting pay is based on experience. A long-term career and apprenticeship
Permanent employees are expected to participate in the contractor’s 3-year registered apprenticeship program through Ivy Tech Community College. Classes meet one evening per week at the Logansport campus during the school year, with no summer classes. Candidates should be comfortable with this commitment before applying.
What you'll do
- Commercial concrete formwork, including Symons forms and Alisply forming systems.
- Work on concrete walls and flatwork.
- Place and tie rebar.
- Read measurements and layouts and follow jobsite direction.
- Use commercial concrete and construction tools properly.
- Work independently within a concrete crew.
What we're looking for
- At least 2–3 years of professional commercial concrete experience.
- Experience with commercial formwork, walls, flatwork and rebar placement and tying.
- Residential-only or DIY concrete experience is not sufficient for this position.
- Comfort with the apprenticeship commitment before applying.
