Commercial Concrete Finisher Foreman
Lead a concrete finishing crew on commercial projects.
Warriors 2 Workforce is hiring experienced concrete foremen capable of leading crews and coordinating concrete operations for long-term commercial construction projects in the Cincinnati area. Projects may include healthcare facilities, industrial construction, large commercial buildings, distribution centers, parking structures and other complex commercial concrete work. The combined finisher/foreman ad lists $24–$45/hour overall; pay depends on position and experience. Work is full-time and in person.
What to include when you apply
Describe your years of commercial concrete finishing experience, your most recent project and your role. Tell us about riding trowel operation, your largest concrete pour or slab, and your experience with hard trowel finishes, broom finishes and cure/seal applications. Include relevant healthcare, warehouse, school, industrial, parking structure or distribution center projects. Include your years of foreman or crew leadership experience and the largest concrete crew you have directly supervised.
What you'll do
- Lead commercial concrete crews.
- Plan and coordinate daily field activities.
- Read plans and coordinate layout.
- Manage production, quality and crew performance.
- Communicate with project supervision and other trades.
- Place, vibrate, level and finish commercial concrete.
- Perform hard-trowel, broom, edge, joint and other specified finishes.
- Operate riding and walk-behind trowel machines.
- Assist with or lead slab-on-grade and elevated-deck pours, depending on position and experience.
- Work with pump crews during large commercial concrete placements.
- Apply cure and seal products.
- Read plans and perform basic layout as required.
- Maintain concrete quality standards and finish tolerances.
- Follow all jobsite safety requirements and work safely and efficiently on active projects.
What we're looking for
- Demonstrated crew-leadership experience required for foreman consideration.
- Commercial concrete finishing experience required; two or more years preferred for finishers.
- Experience with commercial concrete placements and large slab pours strongly preferred.
- Experience operating riding and/or walk-behind trowels preferred.
- Ability to work full-time and overtime as needed.
- Reliable transportation to Cincinnati-area jobsites.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to meet commercial jobsite background, drug-screening and badging requirements.
- OSHA 30 required for this project, or willingness and ability to obtain it before starting.
